Issue opens with the Red Skull watching Captain America entering France with American troops. We then see a news brief in the current year with Senator Wright forming his own party and announcing he is running for president of the United States (Stephen Colbert couldn’t be reached for comment).
Red Skull and Faustus talk about there plans for america. Red Skull gives the diabolical villian speech.
Falchon is pissed at Tony for not talking to him about allowing Bucky to take up the mantle of Captain America.
Buky is working out in his loft when Clint Burton comes in. They trade punches for a bit and then they stop to chat. Clint warns Bucky not to tarnish Steves name.
Sharon has broken free of her mind conditioning (due to her maternal instincts and the shock of seeing Steve alive) and wows to escape with Steve soon.
Bucky has a weird dream and wakes up to find Falchon in his kitchen. they decide to team up and go after the Red Skull
Sharon sneaks into Zola’s lab to rescue Steve. But unfortunetly Steve has no idea who she is
